I love teaching both group and private yoga classes to beginners and intermediate students alike.  Even if you feel like you are “too stiff” for yoga, you are in the right place!

If you would prefer to take a private lesson (or a few!) before joining group yoga classes, that’s often a great place to start!  That way, we can adjust poses and breathing practices for your individual needs, abilities, and/or injuries.  You can certainly continue private lessons indefinitely or join a group class.

I do recommend a minimum of four private classes held once a week to begin to develop the practice habit and to begin to see the effects on your body, mind, and spirit.  Private lessons can be scheduled at your convenience between 9 AM and 8 PM every day except Thursday.

Private classes and group classes can be booked online here.  Group classes don’t require pre-booking, but if you choose to do so, you earn points toward free classes!  Each group class that you pre-book and attend earns you one point, and once you accumulate ten points, you have a free class!


You might wonder what “kind” of yoga I teach.. Well, the simplest answer is that I have been influenced by many teachers over the years, and they have all “spiced” the dish that I offer.

When I say “Hatha” I am referring to movement-based classes that balance the energies of stimulating and energizing with the energies of cooling and soothing.  These classes will also include “Pranayama,” or breathing exercises, specifically chosen to complement the movement practices we are doing.  Meditation will oftentimes be included.

When I say “Restorative” I am referring to posture classes that utilize props in a specific way, that is to minimize sensation in the posture so that you can relax into the shape we are creating without effort.  In these types of classes, it is not uncommon to fall asleep.  We jokingly refer to it as “adult nap time!”

When I say “Yin” I am referring to posture classes that focus on applying mild to moderate stress to the joints of the body (as opposed to the muscular tissues specifically), and in so doing, you relax the muscles in the target area, allowing for maintenance of the health and usability of connective tissues and joints.

$65 (One hour) – On-site at my office for 1-5 students at a time.*

*Please ask for a quote if you are requesting private classes for a group larger than 5, or for the session to occur at an off-site location.  My studio can accommodate up to ten students.


My current group teaching schedule (January – July 2019):

Monday/Wednesday 6-7 PM – All Levels Hatha Yoga at Bellelune Massage and Yoga

  • An invigorating yet steady flow that will awaken total mind-body connection and ease of motion. All levels welcome. Beginners will be led gently and advanced enthusiasts will be given opportunities to deepen the practice. Each class includes flow sequences as well as time to ‘just be’ in the poses – new focus postures will be explored in each class and then woven into the flow. Focus and attention to proper alignment during flow is taught with specific and individualized attention for each participant, giving you the freedom to do your version of the poses. Conscious breathing and awareness of energy are emphasized throughout.

Friday 6-7 PM – Yin Yoga at Bellelune

  • Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. Some call it the “other half of yoga.” In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body.  Physically, Yin Yoga restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, primarily between the navel and the knees.  Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system, which enhances the body’s energetic flow and supports emotional equilibrium.  And as this practice emphasizes stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation.

Saturday 9-10:15 AM – All Levels Hatha Yoga at AlleyCat Yoga

Saturday 11 AM – 12 PM – Gentle Hatha Yoga at Bellelune

  • Whether you are a beginner or you are simply seeking a softer practice, this is the class for you! We will practice poses and breathing techniques that calm and soothe the mind and body.  Much of the practice is done laying on your back and from a hands and knees position.

Sunday 4-5 PM – Community Yoga at AlleyCat

  • The Community class is a lower-cost offering for all yoga students and is appropriate for beginners and more seasoned students. My community class offers slower paced flows and extra alignment details of the poses offered. The slower pace allows beginning students time to understand the poses while allowing more practiced students time to go deeper into them.

Group Classes at Bellelune are $15 each, or $40/4 within 60 days.  Other passes are available as well on the online store. Group classes held at AlleyCat vary in price, so please visit their website for most updated costs.
